Information

★ Working medium
1. It is recommended to use L-HM46 or hydraulic oil with similar viscosity in summer and L-HM32 or hydraulic oil with similar viscosity in winter.
2. The working oil temperature range is -20℃ to 80℃.
3. The cleanliness of the system directly affects the reliability of hydraulic components. The fuel tank and pipeline should be fully cleaned before refueling. Generally, the pump sucks in a commonly used oil filter with a filtration accuracy of 100 mesh (its rated flow rate should not be less than twice the pump flow rate). The oil pipeline is connected to an oil filter with a filtration accuracy of not less than 25μm.

★ Installation of the pump
1. The structure of the oil pump (motor) bracket should be firm, rigid, and able to fully absorb vibration.
2. The oil pump (motor) can be installed in any direction (preferably placed horizontally). The pump and motor shafts must be aligned, and the coaxiality should be controlled within φ0.1mm. Please note that no radial or axial load is allowed on the pump shaft, rigid coupling is not allowed, and it must be driven by a flexible coupling.
3. The suction resistance should not be too high to prevent cavitation. The oil pump allows the suction vacuum to be 110mm mercury column. The installation should be as close as possible to the fuel tank, and the suction height should not be greater than 500mm.
4. Note that the connecting flange, joints and the entire oil suction pipeline at the oil inlet must be strictly sealed to prevent air leakage, otherwise it will cause noise and system vibration, and cause a lot of foam in the oil tank to reduce the life of the pump.
5. The diameter of the suction pipe of the oil pump should not be less than the inlet diameter of the pump.
6. There should be no partitions in the fuel tank to separate bubbles and dirt caused by the oil return. The oil return pipe should extend below the oil level (not directly connected to the inlet of the pump) to prevent air bubbles caused by splashing of the return oil.

★ Start
1. Before starting the oil pump, check the oil inlet and outlet ports. Do not make any mistakes. The direction of rotation of the pump should be consistent with the direction indicated on the label. (If the direction of rotation is not indicated when ordering, it will be supplied in a clockwise direction).
2. When starting, it should be started after inching and running normally under no load conditions as much as possible.
3. After the pump is assembled or stopped for a long time and then restarted, the phenomenon of suction will occur. Therefore, a bleed valve should be installed at the oil discharge port, or the outlet flange and joint should be loosened to release air.

★ Maintenance
1. After the user buys back the oil pump (motor), if it is not used in time, the inside must be filled with anti-rust oil, and the exposed processing surface must be coated with anti-rust grease and stored properly.
2. Check the oil performance regularly, replace it in time when it fails to meet the specified requirements, and clean the oil tank.
3. The oil filter should be cleaned frequently to ensure that the oil is sucked in smoothly.
4. Maintain the normal oil level. When the capacity of the piping and the oil cylinder is large, although a sufficient amount of oil is initially put in, after the start-up, the oil level drops due to the oil entering the pipe and the oil cylinder, and the oil filter is exposed to the oil level, so oil must be refilled again. In the course of use, leakage will occur, and an oil level gauge should be set in the fuel tank for frequent observation and refueling.
5. When piping, iron filings and sludge left in the fuel tank and pipeline, especially cloth strips, often cause the oil pump to malfunction, and must be cleaned.
6. The regulating pressure of the safety valve should not be too high, generally 1.25 times the rated pressure of the pump.
7. Keep the oil temperature in the range of -20~80℃, preferably 35~50℃. If necessary, set heaters and coolers to adjust the oil temperature.
8. After the oil pump (motor) has been working for a period of time, (due to vibration) the installation screws or the flange screws of the oil inlet and outlet may be loose. Pay attention to check and tighten it to prevent loosening.

★ Common faults and troubleshooting methods
During the user's use, if an abnormal phenomenon is found, please find the cause according to the "List of Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods" and eliminate it. If the problem cannot be solved, the oil pump may be malfunctioning. At this time, please do not blindly dismantle and repair the oil pump. You should contact our sales office or our overseas sales office in time for repairs. In order to avoid improper handling affecting the normal use of users and causing unnecessary losses.
